My Journey

Take risks in your life, if you win, you can lead, and if you lose you can guide (So it is always a win-win situation) was once said by Swami Vivekananda. Dr. Rakesh Kumar followed it word by word to unfold the mysteries of environmental intricacies infusing new synergy to lead CSIR-NEERI as Director (since 2016…) after his MSc Chemistry and later went on to do M. Tech in environmental science & Engineering from IIT Bombay. The long journey to success has not been easy; however the zeal to serve the society with science and technology, has never let him stop, but pushed him to achieve greater heights and see the new horizon, “Challenges always make you rise”
